Mexican Forktail, Ischnura demorsa, in Pinal Co., Arizona: New early flying date for the state

The Mexican Forktail had until now not been observed in Arizona prior to 15 February (2016; Rich Bailowitz, personal comm.). Extending the annual flying period of the species by 10 days, two male forktails were seen at Queen Valley, Pinal Co., on 5 February 2017. Below are pictures of three individuals found one week later at the same location.
