  The Variable Dancer is a widespread North American species whose distribution reaches its western limit in central Arizona. On 17 June 2018 multiple individuals, two of which are shown below, were observed along the Agua Fria River in Humboldt, Yavapai County. This location is the westernmost site where this dancer has been recorded to date.
