The Tezpi Dancer in Arizona has been recorded at various locations in southeast regions of the state, but had until now not been found in Gila Co. On 27 May 2017 two males (shown below) were observed along the San Carlos River downstream of Talkalai Lake in Gila Co. This observation documents the first known occurrence of this species in Gila County.
