The earliest date that the Lavender Dancer had until now been observed in Arizona was 8 March (2015; J. Jones). On 4 March 2017 30+ males (three of which shown below) were seen at Morgan City Wash, Maricopa Co, which extends the known flight season of the species in the state by several days.
