No White-belted Ringtail had until now been observed in Arizona after 27 November (Rich Bailowitz, pers. comm.). Extending the flying period of the species in the state by eleven days, a female of this species, shown below, was found on 8 December 2021 at the Salt River Recreation Area (Coon Bluff).
