The Sooty Dancer in Arizona had until 2021 not been recorded after 25 November (http://azdragonfly.org/news/sooty-dancer-argia-lugens-pinal-co-new-late-...). A male of the species, shown below, was observed at the Salt River Recreation Area on 8 December 2021, thereby extending the known flight period of the species in the state by two weeks.
