Serpent Ringtail, Erpetogomphus lampropeltis, in Yavapai Co.: New early flying date for species in Arizona

Location: Agua Fria River - Black Canyon City
No Serpent Ringtail had until now been seen in Arizona before 16 May (2001; Richard Bailowitz, pers. obs.). Extending the known flight season of the species by more than two weeks, a male of the species, shown below, was found on 28 April 2018 along the Agua Fria stream in Black Canyon City, Yavapai Co.
