Powdered Dancer, Argia moesta, in Maricopa Co.: New early flying date for species in Arizona

Location: Tres Rios Wetlands

The Powdered Dancer in Arizona had until now not been observed until 17 February (2015; R. Bailowitz, pers. communication). Four individuals of this species, three of which shown below, were found on 3 February 2018 at the Tres Rios Wetlands, which extends the species' known flying period in the state by almost two weeks.
