Until now there was no record of Flame Skimmer in Arizona after 21 December (http://azdragonfly.org/news/flame-skimmer-libellula-saturata-maricopa-co...). Five individuals of this species, two of which shown below, were observed at Queen Valley, Pinal Co., on 23 December 2018. This observation extends the known flying period of the species in Arizona by two days.
