Emerald Spreadwing, Lestes dryas, in Apache Co., AZ: new late flying date for the state

In Arizona, the Emerald Spreadwing is a northern species that is an early flier (Bailowitz et al., 2015) and had until now not been observed later than 11 August. A male was observed at Concho Lake, Apache Co., on 27 August 2016 (photo below), which extends the known flying season of this emerald in the state by more than two weeks.
