Until now the California Dancer in Arizona had not been found later than 21 December (2008; see http://azdragonfly.org/news/california-dancer-argia-agrioides-maricopa-c...). Extending the known flying period of the species and providing a first January record for the state, eight males (three of which shown below) were observed on 1 January 2018 at Morgan City Wash.
